Jamey Prickett

I am a Gainesville native who graduated from North Hall High School in 1994. After attending grad school at Emory University, I served churches in Lula, Braselton, and Canton before moving back home to Hall County six years ago to serve as pastor of Gainesville First United Methodist Church. My wife, Sharon, and I have two children, Jaden (19) and Cohen (16). As a family, we enjoy hiking, fishing, and traveling across the United States. I love anywhere out West, but New Mexico especially. I am excited to participate in Dancing for a Cause because of the worthy organizations it benefits. As I was too cool to dance in high school (or that’s my story, anyway, and I’m sticking to it!), I look forward to putting all my coolness aside to impress the crowd. More likely, though, my lack of rhythm and two left feet should at least give the people some good entertainment.
