Betsy Grunch

Born and raised in Gainesville, GA, I am a proud graduate of West Hall High School. After attending UGA and the Medical College of Georgia and my residency at Duke University, I came home to Gainesville in 2013 to join the neurosurgery team at The Longstreet Clinic. My passions include minimally invasive spine techniques, advancing the field of neurotrauma, and inspiring the young minds of potential healthcare providers. I live with my husband, Ray, two children, Riley and Beatrice, and two Vizslas, Pancake and Butters. We love spending time on the lake, cheering on our favorite football teams, and seeking out the yummiest eats around town.  I’m also known as @ladyspinedoc – a board-certified neurosurgeon who is an avid content creator. You may have seen my (ever-improving) dance skills on TikTok, but now, I’m ready to BRING IT to the stage for that mirror ball!
