2026 Celebrity Dancer Profiles

Carlee Brooks
Hi, I’m Carlee, and I’m a proud new addition to Gainesville, Georgia. My husband, Ralph Brooks III, grew up here and attended Lakeview Academy, so he has deep connections to this great community. I grew up in Southern California and lived in Dallas, Texas for several years before making the decision to move to Georgia and put down roots in Gainesville. Ralph and I welcomed our beautiful daughter in July 2025, making this past year an incredibly special chapter for our growing family. As a local realtor with Candler Real Estate, I’ve loved helping others discover why Gainesville is such a wonderful place to live. Participating in Dancing for a Cause is another meaningful way for me to get more involved in the community. Gainesville has already given so much to my family, and I’m excited to continue building relationships, meeting more people, and giving back to the city that has already blessed us in so many ways. While I have absolutely no formal dance background, I do love being the life of the party and bringing energy to the room. So, while my technique might be questionable, my enthusiasm definitely won’t be! You can expect plenty of dancing and singing along, and hopefully the crowd will be up on their feet with me.

Jared Crandell
Jared currently serves as the National Director of Government, Military & DoD for Interface, leading national strategy and partnerships supporting U.S. military and federal facilities. He has served nearly 20 years as an officer in the U.S. Army and currently serves in the Georgia Army National Guard. His military career has taken him to over 30 countries around the world, gaining global experience in leadership, operations, and international partnerships. He is also the Founder of Light Work Ministries, a Gainesville-based nonprofit focused on mentoring, discipling, and equipping at-risk youth through faith-based outreach and leadership development. Jared also serves on the Board of Directors for the Gainesville Regional Youth Detention Center. Jared is a Hall County native and member of Chestnut Mountain Church. He and his wife Delana have 2 kids: Luke and Kenslee Joy. When he’s not working, serving, or chasing his kids around, you can probably find him turning up the music and practicing his dance moves in his truck at red lights… which is his official training method for Dancing for the Cause.

Tim Evans
Tim is stepping way outside his comfort zone and onto the dance floor for a great cause. When he’s not practicing his dance moves, he enjoys life in Hall County with his wife, Megan, and their three boys. As President & CEO of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce, Tim typically spends his time championing local businesses and driving economic growth across Gainesville-Hall County. The Chamber serves as the community’s Voice of Business, working to help businesses succeed, support member growth, strengthen public policy, and enhance quality of life – fueling a thriving, forward-looking community built on leadership, cooperation, and progress. This August, Tim is trading boardrooms for dance shoes to support Dancing for a Cause, benefiting Bridging Hope, Alliance for Literacy, and Center Point. While he is not a trained dancer (and won’t pretend to be), he’s all in – ready to work hard, take a few risks, and maybe even find the beat along the way. A Northeast Georgia native, Tim has dedicated his career to creating opportunities and strengthening the place he proudly calls home. His performance may not be flawless—but it will be full of energy, humility, and heart, all for a meaningful cause. After all, building a strong community sometimes means being willing to step outside your comfort zone.

Pamela Hoosh
Gainesville has been my home for over 20 years, but I was raised in South Florida, where I first discovered my love for dance, rhythm, and performing. Let’s just say… it’s been a minute since those days. It feels like another lifetime, a few hairstyles, and several pairs of dance shoes ago! I attended Florida State University, where I earned my master’s degree in Interior Design, and these days, I’m fortunate to work with an incredible tribe of women at House Dressing Interior Design here in Gainesville. Not only are they wildly talented, but they’re also endlessly fun and full of great energy. Over the years, they’ve taught me so much – about design, creativity, and how to make everything look effortlessly beautiful – something I’m hoping also applies to dancing tonight. I’ve been happily married to my husband, Ed Hoosh, for many years, and we’ve recently entered the exciting (and slightly quieter) phase of being empty nesters. Our two daughters, Madilyn and Olivia, are both away at college, which means I suddenly have a little more free time… apparently just enough to agree to dance in front of all of you at Dancing for a Cause 2026! While I’m excited to show you what I’ve (hopefully) still got on the dance floor, I’m even more excited to help raise money for three incredible organizations: Bridging Hope, Center Point, and Alliance for Literacy. Here’s my proposal to all of you: the more money you donate, the better I promise to dance. No guarantees about perfect rhythm – but with enough donations, I may even attempt a spin… and stick the landing.

The Army brought me to Georgia several times over the years, and eventually, it became home! My journey included time at Fort Benning, an unforgettable winter in the mountains during Ranger School, and eventually a return to the ROTC program at the University of North Georgia. Now I’m fortunate to live just outside Gainesville and serve as the Executive Director of the Institute for Peak Performance at UNG, where our mission is equipping and enabling student athletes and cadets to achieve excellence through a focus on holistic health. I’m the proud dad of three kids—two daughters who are married and a son in high school still keeping life a little crazy at home. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me somewhere enjoying the beauty of this area with my amazing wife. I’m honored to be a part of Dancing for a Cause and help raise money for organizations doing incredible work in our community that have touched my life personally. Honestly, after years in Special Operations, I’m not sure I can promise my dancing will be “special,” but since I work on Peak Performance, I’m hoping my moves will reach new peaks—though my kids might say that probably happened in the 1990s. As a new grandpa, my goal is to win hearts and minds on the dance floor—add a spin, maybe a dip, and hope my grandchild is too young to remember this performance… unless I can rely on a little Army training to two-step my way to the mirror ball trophy!

What a special community we have! This town, and the incredible folks in it, continue to make a lasting impact on me. I am so thankful for my roots in Gainesville, GA that continue to grow deeper and deeper. I grew up in the Gainesville City School system, where my husband, Adam, has given 23 years of his career so far. Our kids, Ben and Ellie, are fifth generation graduates of Gainesville High School…and my childhood friends are still my closest friends. For my career, I have the joy of continuing the fuel business that my father built and the privilege of working alongside my brother. Family is the heart of everything for me. While my dance experience stopped around 5th grade, I have a passion for music and the fun it brings to life. Spotify is a major contributor to all of my daily routines. Grateful for this opportunity and excited to dust off my dancing shoes!

Johnny Phillips
I am Gainesville through and through. I was born here, raised here, and still live just a few streets away from the house I came home to from the hospital. I graduated from Gainesville High School in 2005 and the University of North Georgia in 2010. I spent the first ten years of my career teaching elementary school in Gainesville City Schools before transitioning into real estate eight years ago. Today I work as a Realtor with The Phillips Team at eXp Realty, helping people find their place in the same community I’ve always been proud to call home. My wife, Lizzy, and I stay busy keeping up with our two sons, Liam and Logan, who make sure life is always fun, loud, and full of energy. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me spending time at Midland Park with the kids or sampling the newest beer at Downtown Drafts with friends. As a lifelong Red Elephant with the red hair to prove it, I’m hoping a little hometown spirit helps my dance moves. Join me on the dance floor and help turn a few questionable moves into something good for our community – and if nothing else, my kids will get a great laugh out of it for years to come.

Wilson Pierce
Saving lives in the emergency department is part of my daily routine, but dancing on stage might be my biggest challenge yet. I serve as the Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department at Northeast Georgia Health System, where I work alongside an incredible team, caring for patients during life’s most critical moments. Outside of work, I enjoy cheering on the Atlanta Braves, spending time with my wife Rachael and our son Amos, and staying involved with Georgia 4-H. I am proud to support the mission of these 3 agencies; at my own work, I see the important work Bridging Hope does to support survivors of sexual assault. While I’m far more comfortable in scrubs than on the dance floor, I’m ready to step outside my comfort zone for a great cause. And if a few dance moves can help raise support and awareness, I’m all in.

Natalie Teston
After spending way too many hours in courthouses across Northeast Georgia and letting too many shameless people take a piece of me, I realized the loneliness was killing me. That’s why I jumped at the chance to participate in the circus known as Dancing for a Cause. Don’t worry; I won’t be leaving all my lawyer training behind in my quest for the mirror ball. I’m going to approach my dance like I approach my cases and my business. I run a tight ship, and that’s my prerogative. I like my choreography clean, my energy sharp, and my presence a little toxic. With each day of training, I’ve become stronger than yesterday. I’m going to win this competition because in whatever I do, I’m the ringleader; I call the shots. I don’t chase the spotlight – I let it follow me. Step one: walk in. Step two: own everything. Let’s raise some mega money for these three amazing organizations. While my two sweet boys, Kellan (10) and Declan (7) will be cheering from home, you’ll see my sweet husband Clint Teston, my mother and in-laws, and some of my favorite paralegals and fellow lawyers at the event cheering me on.

My whole life has been one big, beautiful dance… whether I’m dancing in my car, kitchen, or on stage at any function – feel free to ask any of my friends about the functions! When I was three, my parents lost me in a mall for a hot second because I heard music and went into a store to dance. They eventually found me and threw me into dance classes immediately and I haven’t stopped since!!! My BEST dance, though, has been my marriage to Joey and being parents to our two beautiful children, Anna and Stephen. I also LOVE to fundraise for worthy causes. I spearheaded the first MVES vs Wizards Basketball game in 2020 for our PTO fundraising for our teachers and our school. I was co-president for NHCEF (North Hall Community Education Foundation) fundraising for our 5 North Hall Cluster schools. And now it is my honor to raise money for these three worthy causes – Bridging Hope, Center Point, and Alliance for Literacy. I am super excited to be a DFC cast member to put two of my passions together!!!
