Beverly has been married to Mike for longer than most of you have been alive. They have two wonderful sons and two great daughters-in-love who have given them five perfect grands, ages four to 14 years. She graduated from the University of Alabama and is known to her grands as BAMA. Although she hasn’t danced for 50 years, she started dancing when she was three and took ballet, tap, and jazz for 13 years. She’s lived in Gainesville for 42 years and directed the preschools at both First Presbyterian Church and Brenau University. Beverly is retired but still works part-time for the Gainesville City School System where she is once again an elephant. She is dancing to give back to this wonderful community that she loves so dearly and to inspire all her friends that “we may be old but can still be bold!”
